Peabody Conservatory of Music Music-related records

Baltimore City Archives All records turned over to Maryland Historical Society, Maryland Archives and Enoch Pratt Library. The index cards of Baltimore passengers (1833 - 1866) are being worked on by MHS and not available for research.

UMBC Kuhn Library Genealogy bibliography (100+ pages) provided by library ($5), including Maryland census records, newspaper indexes for New York Times (1851 - ), Washington Post (1971 - ), Baltimore Sun (1837 - ), and others. State and regional maps. Baltimore passenger lists (1820 - 1897). Baltimore City Directories (1790 - 1930)

Enoch Pratt Free Library See listings on website, including Maryland census, city and telephone directories, Port of Baltimore passenger lists, indexes to death and marriages in Maryland, collections of photographs and maps (Maryland), real estate directories and tax assessments.

Maryland Historical Society See information on website, including Dielman-Hayward file of over 400,000 names of births, deaths and marriages of Marylanders since 1800. City and federal passenger lists (Baltimore), index to naturalization petititions (Baltimore, Philadelphia), Maryland newspapers on microfilm.

Jewish Museum of Maryland Two-page list (1998), including manuscripts, Baltimore Jewish Times, Jewish Chronicle, others, Baltimore census records 1900, 1910, 1920, Baltimore City Directories (1752 - 1955), AVOTAYNU's "People Finder"

Maryland State Archvies Checklist of Indexes at the Maryland State Archives (10 pages, 1995), including probate, marriages, births and deaths, freedom records, naturalizations, census/city directories, military, land office, courts, tax lists, county and municipal records, state records, maps, newspapers.

Family History Centers Columbia, Essex, Hampstead, more - extensive materials that must be ordered and used on premises. Columbia center has some indefinite loan materials from New York donated by the Jewish Genealogy Society (birth, death, marriage, directories).
