Alternative Name: Yesodei Hatorah Synagogue from late 1930's until about 1960  (based upon  appearances of name in Jewish Year Book)
Address: 17 Northumberland Street (corner Leigh Street), Higher Broughton, Salford, M7 0FE, from 1939.
These premises, the home of the mother synagogue of all Hassidic communities in Greater Manchester, were, ironically, from 1934 to 1938, the regional headquarters of Sir Oswald Mosley's notorious British Union of Fascists.
