Bikkur Cholim Sons of Lodz Chevra was one of the 21 or 22 original members of the Federation of Synagogues formed on 6 November 1887 ( listed by V. D. Lipman in his "Social History of the Jews in England 1850-1950" - pp120-121), although it does not appear to have been one of the congregations that attended the meeting of 16 October 1887 at which it was agreed to form the Federation. |
