Latest revision or update: 30 December 2011 Worksop The town of Worksop. in the English East Midlands, forms part of the local government district of the Bassetlaw, the most northerly district of Nottinghamshire. Bessetlaw was formed in 1974 by the merger of the municipal borough and rural district of Worksop with the municipal borough and rural district of East Retford.
