Sources:

Appears in Jewish Year Books from at least 1916 to1920.  In Jewish Year Book 1930, it refers to the congregation as having joined that of New Tredegar, and services held only on High Festivals.
Although, according to the Jewish Chronicle article "How 'Greeners' Came to the Valley", Bargoed reputed boasted a regular minyan (prayer quorum), but had no synagogue, this cannot be the case as in the Jewish Chronicle 24 Octiober 1919, page 29, it states.

"BARGOED, At the general meeting of the congregation the Rev A. Fass, of Leeds, was unanimously elected Minister, Teacher and Shochet. He officiated and preached in the synagogue on the recent holy days."
