Philadelphia Jewish Archives Center (PJAC)

Researchers are welcome to visit the Jewish Archives Center to use its
collections free of charge. If requested to do so, the staff will do
genealogical name searches for a prepaid fee. The fee schedule for research
performed by the Archives Center staff is $10.00 per name for the first year
searched and $5.00 for each additional year searched per collection searched.
These fees must be prepaid to initiate a search. We also require that
certain information be provided for the search.

The following information is needed for a genealogical name search
        1. Name of Immigrant (Include all variations of the spelling of the
                last name)
        2. Aproximate Age at Arrival
        3. Country of Origin
        4. Did He/She Arrive Alone?
        5. If answer to question 4 is No, please list names, ages, and
                relationship of those who also arrived
        6. Collection To Be Searched:

                HIAS Naturalization Cards _______
                Passage Order Books (State name of book to be searched)____
                Other Collections (State name of collection)__________
