Vital Records - records that pertain to death, marriage, or birth

Residence Records - records that help us locate where our ancestors lived including city directories, federal census, voter registration cards, and property records

Life in Jewish Chicago  - information about Jewish institutions including organizations, Jewish newspapers & periodicals, synagogue records, personal collections & oral histories, and the "old" neighborhood

Arrival Records  - information about individuals as they arrive and settle in the United States including naturalization, Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society (HIAS), and ship arrivals
