Using Google Language Tools

We recommend Google Language Tools for the best results as compared to other free online translation tools.  Click here to get to the Google Language Tools page. 

To translate text:

  • highlight the text you want to copy, and click Edit, Copy
  • Place your curson in the box below Translate Text, and click Edit, Paste.
  • Just below the box, set the language from which you are translating using the drop-down menu; it defaults to Spanish; clicking on the up/down arrows  to the right of the word "Spanish" will give you the other options. 
  • The language to which you are translating can be set using its drop-down menu.  It defaults to Englsh; clicking on the up/down arrows to the right of the word "English" allows you to select other languages. 
  • Then click "Translate".

To translate a web page:

  • Highlight the URL of the website you want to translate, and click Edit, Copy. 
  • Then put your cursor into the box below Translate a web page, highlight the http://, and click Edit, Paste.
  • Just below the box, set the language from which you are translating using the drop-down menu; it defaults to Spanish; clicking on the up/down arrows  to the right of the word "Spanish" will give you the other options. 
  • The language to which you are translating can be set using its drop-down menu.  It defaults to Englsh; clicking on the up/down arrows to the right of the word "English" allows you to select other languages. 
  • Then click "Translate".
