1 - General Resources on the Holocaust

• "The Cybrary of the Holocaust", created by Mike Dunn, it is certainly one of the best source of documents about the Holocaust on the Net.
• "The Nizkor Project", this is one of the most important and ongoing Holocaust projects on the Web. This is an important site to visit.
• "Simon Wiesenthal Center" From their site: "The Simon Wiesenthal Center is an international center for Holocaust remembrance and the defense of human rights and the Jewish people.". Check also the "Simon Wiesenthal Center Multimedia Learning Center Online": It is an important site for those who want to learn more about the World War II and the Holocaust.
• "The Holocaust Page" Ben Austin shares a page full of information, a chronology of the Holocaust, the Nuremberg Trials, as well as numerous resources for learning about the Holocaust. Ben Austin is professor in the Middle Tennessee State University.
• Nuremberg War Crimes Trials: http://www.yale.edu/lawweb/avalon/imt/imt.htm "One of our most important projects is mounting the full proceedings of the Trial of the Major German War Criminals. We have so far mounted volumes 1-4 as well as numerous supporting documents".
• Two extraordinary resources lists about the Holocaust on the Internet: Meyer's Holocaust Links and Net's Holocaust Links.
• "The Holocaust, The World Must Remember": An important site with an excellent resources list about the Holocaust on the Internet.
• "Earthstation''s WW2 Sounds and Pictures: Wavs and Images of the Holocaust": This site contains dozen of photographic and sound archives about the Holocaust.
• "The Jewish Student Online Resource Center (JSOURCE)" is a web site created by the American-Israeli Cooperative Enterprise (AICE). This site contains a very well documented section dedicated to the Holocaust and the Jewish History.
• Check also the Internet Resources in Jewish History created by the Dinur Center for the Study of Jewish History, Hebrew University, Mount Scopus, Jerusalem, Israel. This is an excellent list of Online Resource about the Holocaust.
• "The Brest Ghetto Passport Archive" : The purpose of the Brest Ghetto Passport Archive is to recover as many names as possible of those
  Holocaust victims who perished in Nazi-occupied Soviet territory. The names will be contextualized with the addition of explanatory notes, background materials, eyewitness and survivor accounts, still photos, and video film. Every effort will be made to determine when and where the victims died. The Brest Ghetto Passport Archive consists of documents prepared at the order of the Nazi authorities after the capture of Brest in the summer of 1941. All Jews of 14 years of age and above living in the Brest Ghetto were required to obtain and sign for identity papers, which included their names, ages, and the names and dates of birth of their parents. A photo of each person was taken and all those receiving these internal passports were required to sign for them.
• "The Missing Identity Site" : The purpose of this site is to serve as a home for clarifying facts and conveying multidirectional information which might lead to identifying the children who lost their identity in the Holocaust. TO BE VISITED!!
• "http://www.jpi.org/holocaust": A complete and comprehensive study published on a Columbia University Masters Thesis, available free on the internet with downloads. It contains the History of Jewish Education in Europe and America prior to the war. The Holocaust itself , and the impact it had on survivors. And finally, the resurgence in America that resulted from the after-shocks of the Holocaust (1939-1945).

• "Electric Zen: An Einsatzgruppen Electronic Repositary" : A site related to the history of the nazi extermination units: the"Einsatzgruppen". This site contains dozen of unique documents and testimonies from victims and perpetrators.

• The list of all museums and memorials for the victims of nazism in Germany: Memorial museum for the victims of National Socialism in Germany. This site contains a short historical overview of each camp or prison.
• "United States Holocaust Memorial Museum": this web site contains a huge picture database about the Holocaust.
• "The Anne Frank House", located in Amsterdam , it is the museum dedicated to the memory of Anne Frank.
• "The Mechelen Museum of Deportation and Resistance" presents the history of the "Final Solution" in Belgium and in Europe. An excellent resource in Belgium.
• A very well documented site about Mauthausen concentration camp: Mauthausen Memorial
• "KZ Mauthausen Gusen": History of three of the worst sub-camps of Mauthausen. Contains a huge documentation about this three camps.
• The Hiatt Holocaust Collection Home Page contains photographs which are excerpts from a set taken by Major Orval C. Clark in the Spring of 1945 and reflect what he witnessed at the time of the liberation of the Nazi concentration camp at Nordhausen, a sub-camp of Buchenwald. The titles on the links to the photographs were not assigned to the original images and have been added here for descriptive purposes only. The Clark file, kept in the College of the Holy Cross Archives in Dinand Library,
• "Breendonk Concentration Camp": the official website of the National Memorial of Breendonk, Belgium. The site is available in English, French, Dutch and German.

• "Documentary Resources on the Nazi Genocide and its Denial": This server provides full texts of essays, and lists Internet ressources, on the nazi genocide and its negation. It is being put together by concerned volunteers, acting as individuals.
• The Antifascist Web: "Surf to The Antifascist Web: discover reports of Antifascist actions around the world, use links to other Antifascist related Web pages and read about the history of fascism and the Antifascist struggle!"

"A Belgian Family's Story" : The story of a Belgian family during the Nazi occupation in Belgium.

"Concentration Camps, A Traveler's Guide to World War II Sites" by Marc Terrance.: A Must for anyone planning on visiting the Concentration Camps of Europe.Contains street maps showing exact directions to the sites, walking routes, road signs, bus and train information, opening hours and what remains of the camps today. Includes 45 Street Maps, Over 160 Pictures plus many useful websites. The guide covers 39 Sites in Poland, Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic, France and The Netherlands. This book is available on-line.

"http://www.come.to/thecamps" A exhibit of photos of remaining concentration camps by Sara Schmidt Haber, a photographer living in Florida, USA. She gathered an exibit that was shown in june in Montclair, NJ. and will show again in January 2000.

"The Jewish Web Index": An excellent site with a huge Holocaust index.

"A Teacher's Guide To the Holocaust": An overview of the people and events of the Holocaust through photographs, documents, art, music, movies, and literature. An excellent site for the teachers.

"Holocaust Education Through Art": The title says it all. An amazing site, very well done.

• "Le site d'Izieu" On April, 4th 1944, 44 Jews children and their teachers were arrested at Izieu by the Gestapo and sent to the Death Camps. This is the site of the Memorial of Izieu.
